I'm glad he won to he look more friendly and more social then Romney ...
and from what I see and here, Romney seems more a person for the rich people and is one of the old 'gang', where women are placed under man and where the poor don't get so much help ... it's just my point of view, I missed a lot, but that is how he appears in my eyes. more ... selfish.
I can not say that Obama did everything right, though people seem to forget that he need to lead a country and need to do good for the millions of people that are living there. not everybody can be pleased or made happy in only 4 years ...
at least he's much better then Bush was. Now Obama has another 4 year to show what he is capable of and hopefully he can now please the person he couldn't please in his last 4 years.
I'm a libertarian. I voted for Romney, and honestly, I am scared. I am scared that I will not find a job when I get out of college, I am scared my mom will lose her business that her parents started because they can't afford to keep up with the bills, I am scared that my parents will lose their house and have to sell it, if they can sell it for less money than it's worth, and I am scared that in four years this country will be so fallen, so in debt, that we will never be able to get back up......that is why I voted for Romney. Not because of Gay Marriage, Not because of legal drugs, not because of any social reason, but because I am scared for this country's future....that's all I'm going to say.
Sill. Cuse Romney as far as i know was going to have women under the thumb of men again. Women would have less rights and less money. so yere your mom would lose her buisness any way simply cuse she is a woman.
I don't want to argue, but no one can do that. Not Romney, not the House, not the Senate. No one has that power. And frankly, like I said, I didn't vote based on Social issues, they should stay out of politics. They don't belong there. I voted on what was going to help our country move forward, out of this debt, out of this horrible economy, and into a better position. That's all.
Yay ! As someone who supports equal rights I'm very happy Obama won. The GOP needs to get on board with the right side of history if they wanna get back into a position of power - no more of this "you can't have equal rights/be with the person you love/adopt children just because MY religion says so" mentality. And I personally think the comments about "legitimate rape" helped do them in.
I guess I get to be the little cloud of depression. Although I agree with some of President Obama's decrees, I do not believe he has the right to try and take firearms away from me. The second amendment was put in place so that the Government would never have the power to rule the country in a despotic fashion. Isn't it despotic to fill the Supreme Court with judges who are against the second amendment? They're supposed to uphold all of the constitution.
Romney's not much better, though. As an atheist/agnostic, I have a hard time supporting someone who is right-wing religious. Also, I do agree with a Pro-Choice country, and the Anti-Gay mentality and mass homophobia needs to stop. Romney would not be an ideal choice on those matters.
