There is only 1 page left in the Mohatu's Reign segment of my story, which will probably be posted tomorrow. I can't tell you how much I loved doing this comic, and how excited I am that so many people seem to enjoy it. I have loved the experience, it has done a lot for me.
Now, after Mohatu's Reign, I will be going into Uru's Reign.
Some things to expect from Uru's Reign:
- Potentially different look; I will be tackling pages differently from now on, drawing directly in the panels rather then on sepperate documents. I find that this takes less time.
- Color changes. I have slightly darkened all of the adults colors to coincide with age.
- Aging; I will be making some characters look older, or changing the physical structure of characters. Example; Mohatu will be older, Ahadi and Uru will have more adult features.
- Though it's called "Uru's Reign" it will be mostly about Taka and Mufasa, sort of like how "Mohatu's Reign" was mostly about Uru and Ahadi.
- It will be more about Taka's decent into madness, but Mufasa and other cubs will play an important roll as well.
- Ahadi will not be an ass hole dad. I've spent a lot of time making my version of Ahadi a good lion, and I don't plan on changing that. Uru will also not randomly change to evil mom.
- Viccha will make a re-appearance
- It will be a long comic.
