I would like to take a moment to talk about the tragety that's hit the USA today. A armed suspect went into an elementary school and opened fired. 20 children and 6 adults were unnecessarily shot down today.... These things are horrible. No one should have to die like this. Expecting an innocent school day, only to go through hell. Especially Children. Children don't deserve death. A parent should never have to lay their child to rest.

RIP all you lost souls...And to the shooter, may whatever afterlife that may or may not exist have mercy on your soul.

I feel deeply for the lives lost there, especially those of the children.

I heard it yesterday in Austrian's late news and I was so shocked, that I started crying. Everytime I hear about something like that, doesn't matter where it happens, it let's me start thinking about how cruel people can be and, for me the most interesting thing, HOW did they get so. No one is prevented from feeling Hate and resentment towards others.
But still, over a lifetime, everyone should have learned that you can manage those feelings in another way than by violence.

As he shot his mother, I think the plain reason for this is, that his parents couldn't handle him right.
Otherwise it I think it is not right to judge a person we don't know. We can only jugde his actions but not himself....

I feel so sorry for all this kids and the teachers, and especially for the survived children who now miss her/his best friend and of course for the parents!

It was disturbing, when the news reportet about the weapon law in America, which is compaired to Austria's way too weak... Why do we need weapons ? Why can't we live in peace togehter ?

so instead my thoughts go out to everyone involved in this mess. i'll light a candle later this day.
